Natural Pain Killers That We Should Know

Having a pain somewhere in our body is a very dreadful and unpleasant experience. We can never continue our everyday activities, our sleep is ruined, we cannot eat well and even our relationship with others are already destroyed. That is why we resort to drinking anti-pain medications immediately. Anti-pain medications such as ibuprofen, paracetamol, and many more. But these medications have serious side effects if taken always.

In this article, I will let you know that pain is part of our everyday life brought by stress but there are still other natural pain killers that are very effective not just some over the counters anti-pain medications.   • Extra-virgin olive oil

Researchers have found out that extra-virgin olive oil have a natural pain killer or natural anti-inflammatory properties. This is much better to ibuprofen and other oral medications because it is organic and has no serious side effects in our body. In fact, it has so many benefits aside from reducing pain.

  • Fish Oils

Since fish oils are rich in omega- 3, it has been considered as treatment in rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory diseases because it blocks the pain chemicals that could contribute to pain.

  • MSM or methyl sulphonyl methane

MSM or methyl sulphonyl methane stops pain reactions in our body. People with degenerative arthritis reported that there pain was decreased by 80%.

  • Glucosamine

Glucosamine was proven to treat osteoarthritis.

  • Turmeric

Turmeric or Curcumin is not just used in cooking or adding spice in our food but it is also found out that it could stop pain because of the anti-inflammatory properties.

  • Red Onions

Red onions are not just used in cooking but this ingredient can treat inflammation because of the presence of flavanoids. This may smell stinky, but surely your pain will really relieved. You will not regeret using this.

  • Devil’s Claw

This herb is proven by researchers that it is popular in relieving back pains, arthritis of the hips and many more. However, if you have gastric ulcers, you must avoid using this. This may damage your gastric mucosa if taken in large amounts. I’m not saying that this is harmful, but use this herb cautiously.

  • Human Saliva

Studies have shown that human saliva is six times more effective than taking morphine that is why kissing is very good to our health.
