Fat Burning Chia Recipes

Chia Seed Quick Smoothie

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

Apple juice/ orange juice/ yogurt/ liquid tofu (blended with 4-5 tablespoons of water) – ½ – 1 cup

Banana – 1 fresh or frozen cut in 1-inch pieces

Fruit of preference (fresh or frozen) – ¼ cup

Wheat Grass Powder – 1 scoop

Chia seeds – 1 tablespoon

Optional ingredients:

– Ice cubes if not using frozen fruit

– Seeds or nuts – 1 tablespoon (sesame, pumpkin, sunflower)

– Soaked almonds, flax seeds, or Brazil nuts)

Choices of Liquid – about ½ – 1 cup

– Apple juice/ Orange juice/ Yogurt/ Tofu (blend into liquid first with 4-5 tablespoons of water)

– Water

Method:

– Blend and serve chilled.

 

Fruity Delight Raw Pudding

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

Fresh or frozen fruit (anything of your preference – ¼ cup)

You can use any type of fresh or frozen fruit for the smoothies. If you like it thicker, add more fruit.

Chia Seeds – 1 tablespoon

With a ¼ cup liquid, you will have a pudding-like dessert

Method:

Blend and serve chilled.

 

Banana Bombshell

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

Orange juice – ½ cup, fresh

Banana – 1 frozen

Chia Seeds – 2 tablespoons

Date – 1, pitted

Wheat grass powder or protein – 1 tablespoon

Ice cubes

Method:

– Blend for 30-45 seconds or until you get the desired smoothness.

 

Green Energizer

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

Apple juice – 1 cup

Banana – 1

Chia Seeds – 2 tablespoons

Mint leaves – 2

Wheat grass powder – 1 or 2 teaspoons

Method:

– Blend for 30-45 seconds or until you get the desired smoothness.

 

Exotic Sherbet

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

Water – ¼ cup

Banana – 1

Pineapple – ¼ cup, frozen

Mango – ¼ cup, frozen

Chia Seeds – 2 tablespoons

Lemon juice to taste

Method:

– Blend for 45-60 seconds or until you get the desired smoothness.

– It has the consistency of ice cream and can be served accordingly.

 

Chia Seeds N Cream Smoothie

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

Yogurt – 1 cup (dairy or non-dairy)

Banana – 1

Strawberries – ¼ cup, fresh or frozen

Chia Seeds – 2 tablespoons

Raw honey – 1 tablespoon (or coconut nectar)

Method:

– Blend for about 45 seconds or until you get the desired smoothness.

 

Hydrating Dessert Smoothie

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

Cactus fruits – 4, peeled

Apple – 1, diced

Pear – 1, diced

Banana – 1

Walnuts and almonds – 1 cup, chopped

Chia Seeds – ¼ cup

Milk (soy or dairy) – 2 cups

Coconut nectar – 5 teaspoons

Method:

– Blend for about 1 minute or until you get the desired smoothness.

 

Fruity Joy

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

Chia Seeds – 1-2 tablespoons

Almond butter – 2-3 tablespoons

Wheat Grass Powder – 1 scoop

Apple – 1, diced

Banana – ½, sliced

Raisins or dried cranberries – 2 teaspoons

Splash of nut/ soy/ rice milk

Pinch of cinnamon

Add water to achieve desired consistency.

Berries – 1 cup, consisting of fresh or frozen blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries.

Method:

– Blend for about 1 minute or until you get the desired smoothness.

– Increase milk quantity if you want a thicker consistency, while reducing water.

– Serve chilled.
